Angela is a lawyer with a Bachelor of Laws Degree (Kenya) and a Master of Laws in International Business (Germany).
An Advocate of the High Court of Kenya, a Chartered Arbitrator and a Certified European Privacy Professional.
I currently work as a legal counsel in an automotive company.
I was born and brought up in a small village in Kenya with not much exposure many things big cities have to offer. This notwithstanding, I was taken to the best schools my parents would afford and from a very young age, I always knew I wanted to be a lawyer.
I ended up studying law at Moi university and proceeded to complete my post graduate diploma from the Kenya School of Law. I was admitted to the bar and practiced law in the firm of Ogetto, Otachi & Co. Advocates. As a young lawyer, I learned many things, but the greatest of them was being exposed to high profile cases and high-profile clients. This made me have so much confidence in the possibilities I could have in my legal career.
Fast forward, when I moved to Germany, I knew I never wanted to give up on my passion whatever the odds were. I went through my fair share of challenges, but the self confidence sowed earlier in me, kept me believing, I would make it if I wanted to. I have shared this story here. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5uLORtbMS_0&t=5s
My journey made me appreciate the misinformation and the lack of information in the journey of relocation especially for professionals. Many people end up settling or giving up on their careers whereas there are ways they can continue their professions in Germany.
