The academic relationship between Germany and Africa has brought in opportunities for students, young scientists and professionals pursue their career through scholarship grants, exchange programmes and collaborations between universities.

In Africa, the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) has established several offices promoting academic exchange between Germany and Africa.
