Welcome to our first Digital Think Tank Expert Talk, which will take place virtually on 28 November 2025. Our November edition focuses on one of the most important themes for Kenyan professionals exploring opportunities in Germany: Unlocking Labour Mobility & Skills Recognition.

About The Think Tank

The Think Tank is an initiative established by Kenyan professionals in Germany to provide expert-led insights, guidance, and practical solutions for the Kenyan diaspora. The Think Tank was officially introduced during our Career Meetup on 28 June 2025 in Nürnberg, where four key thematic clusters were unveiled. Building on the strong engagement and demand from our community, we now launch our first Digital Think Tank Expert Talk Series, featuring practitioners and thought leaders across various professional sectors.

About This Session

This session will explore key pathways into the German labour market, including direct employment, academic routes, and the Chancenkarte (Opportunity Card).

Participants will gain practical insights into how employers assess skills, how foreign qualifications are recognized, and the real experiences of migrants navigating these pathways.
